Welcome to MittUp! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MittUp campus social platform. By registering an account or accessing the platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
This platform is strictly restricted to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and verified industrial experts of Maharaja Institute of Technology Thandavapura (MITT). You must provide accurate registration details (such as USN for students and designation for staff) to join.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and your interactions on the platform. By using MittUp, you agree to the following rules:
To maintain a safe and professional environment, MittUp integrates real-time AI moderation (powered by Google Gemma). Posts, achievements, and messages that trigger high toxicity or policy violations may be automatically warned, reviewed, or blocked. The administration reserves the right to review and remove any user content at their sole discretion.

You retain ownership of any text, achievements, or project contributions you publish on the platform. By posting content, you grant MittUp a non-exclusive license to showcase, distribute, and display it within the campus network for connectivity purposes.
MittUp is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of user-posted achievements or mentorship advice. Under no circumstances shall the platform administrators or developers be liable for direct or indirect damages arising out of your use or inability to use the network.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka.
We may update these Terms from time to time to align with privacy acts (such as DPDP or GDPR). Any version changes will be updated on this page, and users will be prompted to review and re-consent to new terms if substantial updates are made.
